Filled with fun activities, crafts, reading and game time, Eagle Extended Day (EED) is offered Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. beginning the first day of school.
Students enrolled in the EED: PK3, PK4, Bridge and kindergarten program enjoy playground time from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. If weather does not permit, students remain in the classroom for indoor games and activities.
Enrolled students will need the following items for EED:
- a nap mat
- an extra change of clothes (inside backpack)
- lunch and bottle of water
Please label all of your student's items. A healthy snack is provided daily with water. Lesson plans are coordinated with SBS lower school curriculum, which can include a letter of the week, craft project and a nursery rhyme.
EED is open on noon dismissal days and student holidays at no extra charge (as parent conferences are part of the regular payment September and May). The EED program has the right to dismiss the student for a repeatedly late pick up.
EED follows the same discipline policy as Second Baptist School. Illnesses and incidents are taken to the Nurse's Office until closing time at 3:30 p.m. After the nurse’s office closes, the director of the EED program will contact parents directly regarding illnesses and/or incidents requiring attention.
Cost: $285/month
