Field Trips

Field Trips

Pre-kindergarten students experience two field trips during the school year. The trips are centered on their science and social studies units. The classes visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugarland and the Children’s Museum of Houston.
 
Bridge students enjoy two field trips. They visit the Bellaire Nature Center and attend a performance at the A.D. Players - Children's Theater.
 
Kindergarten students take two field trips during the year. In conjunction with their rock unit, butterfly unit and dinosaur unit, the classes visit the Houston Museum of Natural Science. They also enjoy a day at the beach in Galveston collecting shells to coincide with their study of seashells.
 
First grade students participate in two field trips: the Fort Bend Museum and the Houston Arboretum.
 
Second grade students’ field trips include a visit to the Houston Zoo as they study endangered animals and a visit to The George Bush Presidential Library as they study United States presidents.
 
Third grade students participate in two field trips: STEM studies at iFLY and Minute Maid Park in conjunction with their architecture studies.
 
Fourth grade students enjoy several interesting field trips during the school year: the Sam Houston Museum, The Health Museum and the Taste of Texas restaurant.
