Support the Arts

From the Director

The Arts Department at SBS is thriving. We have five key areas for students to be trained by experienced professionals innovating in their craft: Choral Music, Instrumental Music, Journalism & Yearbook, Theatre and Visual Art.  We are more than just the talent and the performance. We are a family. Students are using their God-given talents to reach their potential on stage and parents are coming alongside with their time and treasures to support their students and the program. It is a blessing to lead such an outstanding arts community that continues to give back.

As a department, our desire is to offer opportunity to all families. Whether it be with early access to tickets, experiences with artists, reserved seating or performance time, we want everyone to feel like a part of our caring community.

I personally invite you to be a part of the SBS Arts Department by joining Arts Patrons and Director's Circle. Don't miss this opportunity for your family to experience the best of what our programs have to offer!

Arts Patrons

Enhance the SBS Arts Experience

Arts Patrons - generous alumni parents, current parents and friends - support the SBS arts program annually. A gift to Arts Patrons makes a difference to our students and faculty by providing programs, events and supplies needed to enhance the SBS Arts experience. Every student is nurtured in the arts, beginning in lower school and developing according to each student’s interests and talent into middle and upper school. Becoming an Arts Patron allows SBS to sustain its pursuit of excellence in the arts in order to glorify the Lord and have a meaningful impact on our school community and beyond.

The Best Seat in the House

Are you looking for the BEST seats in the house for the upper school musical, BEFORE they go on sale to the cast and the public? Join the Director's Circle! This year, Second Theatre Company will perform Disney’s The Little Mermaid at The A.D. Players’ George Theater. Seats are limited to 440 patrons only. With this limited seating, joining the Director's Circle is crucial to making sure you get tickets to this year's performances.

You may join the Director’s Circle after the deadline; however, priority seating and acknowledgement in the program may not be available.
