JOB DESCRIPTION
The middle school administrative assistant is responsible for overseeing administrative tasks at the Woodway Village front desk, the main entry point to the middle school. Admissions: Assistant

The admissions assistant works in conjunction with the director of admissions and the admissions team to build relationships with prospective families and community partners to attract mission-appropriate students to Second Baptist School. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter interested in joining a dynamic and engaging team.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
- Innovatively create and implement (with director of admissions) the online admissions experience for prospective students and families, including online applications, supporting documentation features and processes and website (with marketing specialist), using Blackbaud K-12 and other office software.
- Process applicants, new students, contracts and withdrawals and supporting documentation for each. Communicate with applicant families and schools regarding requirements, compliance and deadlines.
- Lead the close of each admissions/enrollment season and the transition to the new season through a series of online and office tasks.
- Research, develop, report and analyze enrollment and tuition trends, and provide counsel to administration regarding data and trends.
- Assist the director of admissions in administering the school’s financial aid program.
- Coordinate annual tuition notifications and mailing.
- Serve as liaison to the business office.

JOB SUMMARY
The alumni relations coordinator, under the general direction of the director of advancement, will coordinate alumni programs and services designed to foster and strengthen the relationship between the school and its alumni. The alumni relations coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing long-term and short-term strategic goals to support our conviction that Second Baptist School is a world-class institution founded on biblical principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following:
Alumni Engagement
- Manage the alumni experience and engage in frequent, meaningful interaction with alumni, staff, faculty, volunteers and students.
- Plan and execute activities and events to increase engagement and promote lifelong relationships and learning with current and future alumni. Network in and beyond the Second Baptist community.
- Establish and meet measurable goals to increase the number of alumni on campus attending events, alumni children enrolled at SBS and the number of alumni visible to our students.
- Serve as a liaison to alumni to keep them connected to each other and SBS through correspondence, social media, emails, cultivation and invitations to events.
- Develop a coordinated strategy of alumni communication, solicitation and stewardship. Establish and meet measurable goals to increase alumni giving.
- Maintain and manage all aspects of SBS alumni social media accounts.
- Provide content and update information for the alumni section of the school website.
- Collect alumni notes by class year and write longer format features about alumni for the Eagle magazine.
- Send care packages to the most recently graduated class (college freshmen) before their first round of final exams in the fall.
- Select, design, order and promote merchandise items for giveaways and gifts.
- Develop a two-year plan with measurable goals to update and maintain accurate data.
Events
Building relationships with alumni is essential to engagement and includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Plan, publicize and execute all alumni events within budget.
- Plan and execute alumni college dinners on the Texas College Tour while also serving as a chaperone.
- Host alumni table/tent at home football games and other various campus-wide events.
- Attend (and assist as needed) upper school events regularly to build rapport with future alumni.
- Attend and assist admissions events, with specific attention given to alumni prospectives. Effectively communicate the school’s strengths and characteristics to prospective alumni families. Assist with execution and promotion of Future Eagles Club.
- General support of all advancement department’s initiatives and events.
Class Agents
- Work with senior students to introduce them to the alumni relations program and to nominate their class agents.
- Maintain close relationships with all class agents, and solicit their help for collecting alumni news and promoting alumni events.
- Assist class agents annually to plan and facilitate reunions every five years.
Other Duties
- Assist with the execution of the senior class graduation portrait.
- Assist with the selection process of the annual distinguished alumni and alumni parents’ awards.

JOB SUMMARY
The web coordinator is responsible for maintaining and managing the school's website in a manner that represents the pursuit of excellence at SBS. The SBS website is a crucial marketing tool and must be secure, functional, visually appealing, user-friendly and consistently updated. The web coordinator will attend to all tasks that align with these expectations while maintaining the knowledge necessary to drive innovation. This position reports to the marketing specialist and works within the institutional advancement team to increase enrollment through lead captures and lead nurturing via the website.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage metadata and other search engine optimization strategies.
- Maintain documentation of all website-related processes and procedures.

JOB SUMMARY
Second Baptist School seeks a talented, experienced and visionary director of educational technology to lead the technology department with new initiatives and the school’s expansion to multiple campuses. The director of educational technology is a new position and will play a pivotal role in furthering the mission of Second Baptist School by promoting the school’s core values and portrait of a graduate distinctives.
