    Second Baptist School presents exceptional professional opportunities to dynamic, experienced educational leaders committed to independent school education grounded in biblical principles and faith.

    Founded in 1946, SBS was established with the purpose of providing a place of biblical instruction and learning where students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade could grow academically, spiritually, physically and socially. Second Baptist School is a Christian, college-preparatory school pursuing excellence for the honor of Jesus Christ---a gospel-centered community preparing tomorrow’s leaders for global impact.

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a strong Christian testimony and be committed to pray for the school community
  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A master’s degree in education is preferred
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a strong leader and team member supporting all school-wide initiatives
  • Have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Be proficient in technology
  • Serve as a positive Christian role model to our students
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all members of the community
  • Be a responsible steward of the school’s resources and personally support the school’s fundraising efforts as able
