Working Hard at Individual Craft While Supporting One Another

The Second Baptist School tennis program is an extension of the SBS Athletic Department and exists to use the sport of tennis to impact the lives of every member of the program. The SBS tennis program also seeks to give each class a chance to play for a championship. It has a rich tradition of excellence and continues to define excellence by exhibiting a high level of skill, practice habits and effort. The tennis team at SBS is committed to being Christ-centered, excellent and focused on living in community together. Tennis is available to male and female athletes in grades 9-12.

"My goal is for each player to experience a love for the game of tennis while learning integrity, responsibility and respect."

Coach Kroll has been part of the SBS faculty since 2007, teaching and coaching, taking over the head tennis coach position in 2022. She has been active in the Houston tennis community for twenty years, competing in national tournaments and USTA tournaments. She won ladies’ singles and doubles tournaments at Houston Racquet Club and was captain and co-captain of the championship and open-level teams with HRC. As a parent of three SBS graduates, she loves Second Baptist School and values the Christ-centered environment in which our student athletes compete.
