Working as One to Glorify God
The vision of SBS softball is to see each woman grow as a Christian, an individual, an athlete and a student. Together as a team, softball athletes set goals motivated by teamwork, strategic planning, intentional effort and focused energy. Each athlete is encouraged to represent SBS softball by showcasing to the community that both hard work and dedication are fruitful. Softball players grow on the field, in the classroom and in their walks with Christ. Each player is able to flourish as they gain a sense of confidence to bolding lead and encourage others.

Coaches
Coach Oz
Coach Margo Ostarticki “Coach Oz” began coaching softball at Second Baptist School in 2021. Before joining SBS, Margo coached select teams in the San Antonio, Dallas and Houston areas. She has trained pitchers and hitters since 2010. Margo played Division I softball at Texas A&M Corpus Christi University, on full scholarship from 2006-2010, where she started all four years. She holds both the home run and most RBIs in a career record at Texas A&M Corpus Christi University. She was also awarded All-Conference her junior and senior years. Along with playing softball, Margo earned her BA in marketing and her MBA at TAMUCC.
