Admissions Steps

Step 1: Online Application and Checklist
Click Apply Now to begin the online application. You will create a login and password at the start of the process. You may complete the application over time, and your student will be considered an applicant when each step is completed and the fee is paid. You will submit some items via the online checklist.
 
Step 2: Required Documents
You will submit your student's birth certificate and other applicable documents via the online checklist.

Step 3: Submit Teacher Recommendation 
Submit the teacher recommendation through the online checklist. The teacher will return completed form to the Office of Admissions.

Step 4: Report Cards and Records
For kindergarten - grade 4 applicants, submit the official records request to your student's current school. To print the request, Click Here. The school will send records directly to the Office of Admissions. 
 
Step 5: Testing
For PK4 - grade 4 applicants, lower school required testing is administered by Education Specialists. To schedule and print Parent Questionnaire Click Here.
 
Step 6: Group visit/evaluation and interview
Lower school applicants attend a group visit or evaluation at Second Baptist School. Schedule through the online checklist.

VISIT LOWER SCHOOL

We invite you to visit Second Baptist School and experience our lower school. Encompassing grades pre-kindergarten 3 through grade four, lower school students build a foundation that prepares them as they enter middle and upper school.

Tour Tuesdays

On select Tuesdays each month, join the office of admissions for an indepth tour of the lower school. Meet teachers and students as you learn about curriculum, technology and Bible courses. Tours will begin September 2019. Click here to register.

Evaluation Day Tours

While your student is visiting campus for his or her group evaluation (December 2019 - February 2020), join the Office of Admissions for this one-hour tour of campus. We will grab a cup of coffee and go on a brief tour and question and answer session. Registration is not required.

Age Requirements

Students applying for:
-Pre-kindergarten 3 must be three years old before September 1 of the enrolling year. 
-Pre-kindergarten 4 must be four years old before September 1 of the enrolling year.
-Kindergarten must be five years old before September 1 of the enrolling year.
