VYPE Media Interview: Emily Rogers '23

Second Baptist School softball will return to the diamond this spring with the hopes of making another run to state. VYPE Media interviews the “game-changing senior [who] has been a key factor in establishing the team’s precedent of greatness.” 

Part of Second Baptist School’s 2021 TAPPS State Championship winning team, Emily Rogers '23 is determined to bring the state title back to SBS before she heads off to Colorado School of Mines play softball and pursue an engineering degree.

“From my freshman year to now, I have grown as a player physically and mentally,” she said. “Through challenges and successes, playing for Second Baptist School has taught me several life lessons from my coaches and teammates. My experience as an Eagle has prepared me well for the future.”
