Middle Schoolers RSVP
Each year, the middle school carves out one week for In Focus. This year, the theme was ‘RSVP.’ Students were asked and encouraged to consider how they respond to God’s call throughout the week’s four sessions. Daily worship and Friday’s service day helped bolster spiritual growth and fellowship with each other.
The culminating event of the week, Middle School Service Day, sent our middle schoolers to serve at Agape Ministries (sixth grade), The Forge Family Ministries (seventh grade) and Star of Hope (eighth grade). Fifth graders served at Vosswood and packed lunches for Kids’ Meals.
The week culminated with a huge block party celebrating life change and transformation in Jesus. Inflatables, games, pizza, Fat Cat Creamery and students filled the Fellowship Hall and C Gym for the fun. Students rejoiced over what God did in their lives this past week and enjoyed fellowship together.
Thank you, Second Students, for pouring into our middle schoolers! You make a difference on our campus!
