Flight Night 2025: A Slam Dunk with Space Jam

Flight Night 2025 blasted off with a high-energy pep rally, launching an unforgettable evening packed with school spirit, thrilling matchups, and a Space Jam twist.

A roaring crowd of 1,100 fans packed the gym, fueling the excitement as youth teams hit the court for fast-paced games, and halftime came alive with electrifying performances from MS Spirit, JV Cheer, Golden Girls and Varsity Cheer.

Varsity women's basketball set the tone for the night with a decisive 63-45 victory, dominating both ends of the court.

Reflecting on the night, Coach Taylor Land shared, "Being in my first year, I had heard great things about Flight Night, and it did not disappoint! It was an awesome combination of effort from staff, faculty and parents. The energy from our students and the performances of the cheer, Spirit and Golden Girls teams were absolutely excellent. Our program is truly grateful for the support shown throughout the evening."

The evening also marked a special moment for Class of 2025 athletes Michael Pratt and Terrance Baylor, who were honored during Senior Night for their commitment to the basketball program.

The grand finale? Varsity Men's basketball delivered a high-scoring 88-57 victory, closing out the night with high-flying energy, school pride and an electric atmosphere that will be remembered long after the final buzzer.
