Extreme Eagle
Middle school spirit week culminated in an exuberant Extreme Eagle pep rally to celebrate fall sports and display Eagle pride. This annual tradition fills the campus and middle school hallways with an electrifying atmosphere. The crowning touch, our eighth grade football team followed this event with an exciting 27-8 win against Kinkaid that evening. Not only that but on Thursday, October 19, they sealed the season by winning the HJPC Championship! Go Eagles!
“It's fun to watch the collective efforts of these teams and coaches come together over the season,” said Middle School Athletic Director Jeff Schroeder. “In middle school, it is important to develop the basic fundamentals and have fun doing that in a team setting.
Our coaches are excited about the foundation being built and eager to see how these student athletes will contribute to our athletics programs for years to come.”
Extreme Eagle not only recognizes fall sports but also fosters the camaraderie and overall school spirit Second Baptist School is known for. Throughout the week, students demonstrated their school spirit by participating in various themed dress-up days. Middle schoolers roared with excitement and proudly donned their blue and gold at the Extreme Eagle pep rally, showing that this spirit week had not only ignited their school spirit but also created unforgettable memories.
