Extending Christian Education to the Houston Community

In November 2020, Second Baptist School was pleased to announce the extension of Christian education through two university-model schools on the North (Kingwood) and Cypress campuses of Second Baptist Church. The response from families in those areas has been overwhelmingly positive. 

Paratus Classical Academy founders and long-time Second Baptist Church members, Pam and Beau Dollins have served as Head of University-Model Schools and Director of University-Model Schools for Second Baptist School since the initial announcement in November. Due to this successful collaboration, Paratus Classical Academy will become Second Baptist School University-Model Memorial beginning fall 2021. 

As with the North and Cypress campuses, SBSUM-Memorial will be distinctively classical and packaged with a university-model. This unique design educates students in grades PK-12 two to three days a week on campus with the remaining days as satellite learning.
