Shining On Stage: The 2024-2025 Golden Girls
Step into the spotlight with the 2024–2025 Golden Girls, a team whose spirit and grace radiate through every performance. This year’s Golden Girls Spring Show was a display of artistry, leadership and joy—showcasing not only the incredible talent of our dancers, but the community that supports them.
The night opened with a high-energy Pom routine to “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” officially introducing the 2024–2025 Golden Girls to the stage. Next, our youngest stars took the spotlight— future Golden Girls from PK4 to fourth grade brought the crowd to their feet with “9 to 5” and “Real Gone.” These sweet and spirited dancers reminded everyone just how deep the legacy of Golden Girls runs at Second Baptist School.
As the evening continued, the audience enjoyed an incredible variety of styles—from the lyrical “Stand By Me” and the bold Officer Novelty “Jet Set” to the fun and fearless hip hop routine “Round and Round.” With heartfelt solos, energetic duets, and crowd-favorite traditions like the Bob & Susie Dances and the hilarious Golden Guys, the Spring Show had something for everyone.

In the winter, the team transitions into competition season—channeling their passion and precision into award-winning performances across the state. This year, their hard work was recognized at the TAPPS Dance Championships, where they earned:
- 3rd Runner-Up Large Team - Tier 1, with a Superior Rating

One More Time
As the Spring Show came to a close, the spotlight turned to the five seniors who have faithfully led their team with heart and humility. Each tribute was a celebration of the legacy they leave behind—one marked by servant leadership, consistent encouragement, and a deep love for their teammates.
The final performance, “One More Time,” a cherished tradition, gave the team one last opportunity to dance together and celebrate a year filled with growth, accomplishment, and unforgettable memories.
