Admissions Testing is required for all applicants to Second Baptist School.Lower School Testing
includes an evaluation through Education Specialists and a group evaluation. The group evaluation fee is included in the application fee. The testing fees below are paid directly to Education Specialists.Early Childhood Program
- Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI) - $175Kindergarten

- Required testing for Grades 5 - 12 is the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Applicants may register at www.iseetest.org
Tuition may be paid monthly or in full. Monthly tuition may be paid using a credit card or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Full tuition must be paid on or before June 1.
|New Student Tuition and Fee|
The $400 new student fee and the first month's tuition are due at the time the student accepts the invitation to attend Second Baptist School. These fees are non-refundable.
The activity fee supports grade-level activities. The annual fee is $75 for Grades Pre-Kindergarten - 8th Grade, $175 for Grades 9 - 11, and $240 for Grade 12.
|English Prep/Grammar Review Course|
All new Middle School and Upper School students are required to attend the Grammar Review Course. The fee is included in the new student fee. Details will be provided upon acceptance.
|Textbooks and Supplies|
Lower School textbooks and supplies are provided by the School. Middle School and Upper School textbooks and supplies are purchased by and are the property of the student. Cost will vary depending on the grade and course selection. Book lists and ordering procedures are posted on the website prior to the start of school.
Students withdrawing after enrolling or reenrolling in the School will be charged half the yearly tuition. Partial refunds will be given only to families moving over thirty (30) miles away or in the case of a catastrophic illness.
|Uniforms|Early Childhood Program students are not required to wear uniforms daily. Comfortable clothes and tennis shoes are recommended. Required field trip uniform is khaki shorts/walking shorts and white blouse for girls, and khaki slacks/walking shorts and a white shirt for boys. Early Childhoodl Program students wear uniforms for Chapel.
Students in Kindergarten through Grade 8 are required to wear uniforms. Uniforms must be purchased through Sue Mills/Mills Wear. Retail stores are located throughout the Houston area. Visit www.millswear.com

Students may bring or purchase lunch. Students may pay cash for meals and a la carte items or a ten-meal ticket may be purchased.
Second Baptist School offers a variety of after school care options at an additional monthly cost. Lunch Bunch is offered Monday - Friday from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm or 3:30 pm with fees ranging from $70-$210.
